Usually it's either trolls or humans who are both retarded and untempered by wars who say shit like "war is hell".

Some humans might be borderline retarded and not see the issue immediately, but still deserving and capable of a realization, so here's a hint:

"Suicides are awful."
"Domestic abuse is torment."
"Raping newborns is a nasty thing."

Get it? No, wait. It's even worse.

While the examples above hopefully clearly demonstrate how a malformed virtue signaling can shelter a culprit and put you in a resigned matter-of-fact mood, "war is hell", in addition to those things, romanticizes war with poetic language and obscures far more complexity and nuance. War can be the best solution to a problem. It may be the only solution. At risk of sounding banal, what other easy-to-implement and sure-to-work solutions were there for the Third Reich? In times when they should've been invested, their obnoxious "war is hell" cries would have done real damage.
